Asher Roth is a 22-year-old American rapper from Morrisville, Pennsylvania currently signed to a joint venture between Scooter Braun's Schoolboy Music and Steve Rifkind’s SRC Records. His first professional release was on June 13, 2008 when the DJ Drama and Don Cannon-helmed The Greenhouse Effect mixtape was released for free via Roth’s website Thedailykush.com. Roth was featured on the cover of XXL magazine’s annual Top 10 Freshmen: Hip-Hop’s Class ’09 issue. Roth is expected to release his untitled debut album on March 17, 2009.
Asher Roth is the truth, hes a new artist and mad young so he has a lot to learn. Of course he's white and he has a since of humor so sure hes compared to Em' but nah, they are two different artists. Been said by many artist such as kanye, luda, mos def and many more that hes a new hot up coming artist. He's not a poser or anything at all. He usually raps about things he's used to:Smoking weed, college parties and just having a good time. With his unique flow and hi hop beats makes a nice connection!
